The Mission of the Westside Men’s Basketball Program is to foster the development of young men and women into productive citizens through the use of sports. Our focus is to help our youth through character, community and competition. A few of the program’s objectives are:

• To build and sustain a quality and competitive program

• To fundraise and help support the program

• To help provide opportunities both academically and athletically beyond high school participation

The Westside Men’s Basketball Program, under the leadership of Head Coach Jerry Hunter, has become a staple in the city of Augusta and throughout the State of Georgia.

Coach Hunter has also been awarded Region and State Coach of the Year on multiple occasions. At Westside….. The Standard is NOT The Standard……. The Standard is WESTSIDE!!
